I am on land that has been inhabited by Indigenous people for thousands of years. I am in Caledon, which is located in the traditional territory of Anishinaabek, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, Ojibway/Chippewa, and the Mississaugas of the Credit peoples. Caledon resides within Treaty 19 (1818) territory.

Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and I am grateful to have the opportunity to work, live and play on this land.
